To make this the Spirit of '57 Plate a reality, we need the Alabama State Legislators to support its passage. 

Please contact your State Representative and ask them to vote in its favor.

1. Click the link above to go to the Secretary of State site, then click anywhere on page

2. Enter your address in the upper left form on the next website

3. You will see all of your elected government officials on the right; scroll down to find your State House District and your Representative. 

4. Look them up on the Alabama Legislator site.

5. Send them an email AND call their office to ask them to support the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute Plate.
